A number of topics related to our concern are always open for prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students from any department in Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University. Based on our experiences, dual supervisory scheme with our researchers is also possible. Since Insgreeb is a growing-independent research group, self-funded students are preferred for now. However, we offer different research atmosphere to expand your experience, with improved knowledge and , experience, and invaluable networking among our collaborative research environment.
Undergraduate Thesis
The student is required to have a strong motivation to study in one of these fields: building physics / acoustics and audio / natural and artificial lighting / energy conservation / renewable energy / sensor and instrumentation / artificial intelligence / data communication / and AR-VR technologies in application for building and built environment. Therefore, taking several courses related those topics is a must.
The students are encourage to express his/her interest to Sentagi Utami, Ph.D or other Insgreeb researchers whom expected to be a supervisor, via email. The research topic can be offered by prospective supervisors or self-proposed by students.
The students are required to have a good understanding in basic mathematics and physics, high self-motivation and a curiosity to the topics. In the end of thesis, you will also be expected to write a max. 5 pages draft scientific paper in English.
Master and PhD
Master and PhD opportunities with government and university-funded scholarships are available each year, both to domestic and international students. Once you are listed as a recipient of the scholarships, and you are interested to conduct a research with Insgreeb, please let us know.
