Energy Efficiency Mapping of 11 Indonesian Cities by GBPN

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is developing a baseline and roadmap for energy efficiency in buildings across Indonesia. To achieve this, the ministry has hired the Global Building Performance Network (GBPN) and Insgreeb to conduct mapping in 11 major cities: Semarang, South Tangerang, Surabaya, Kendari, Bandung, Gianyar, Denpasar, Samarinda, Balikpapan, Yogyakarta, and the Province of DKI Jakarta.

This project began in 2023 and is ongoing. Baselines have already been established for Samarinda, Bandung, and Yogyakarta, while surveys, IESVE modeling, and further assessments are underway for the remaining cities, with some cities scheduled for surveys this year. Insgreeb remains committed to overseeing this project to its completion.
