Achievement

UGM ranked 6th nationally and 91st globally among 719 universities in  the the UI GreenMetric 2018

Universitas Gadjah Mada’s commitment to becoming The Leading Green Campus was demonstrated by participating in the 2018 UI GreenMetric, marking its first involvement since the initiative began in 2010. In its debut, UGM secured the sixth national rank and 91st worldwide among 719 universities.

The UI GreenMetric evaluates six categories: infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water usage, transportation, and education. UGM achieved the top national rank for Waste Management and third in Transportation.
