Integrated Smart and Green Building
Dr. Eng. Mohammad Kholid Ridwan, S.T., M.Sc., was born in Bantul, Yogyakarta. He spent his early years in Bantul, from Kindergarten through Junior High School, before moving to the City of Yogyakarta for Senior High School in 1989. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997 and subsequently joined the Department of Engineering Physics at Gadjah Mada University as a tutor.
He pursued his Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1999 to 2001. From 2004 to 2007, he completed his doctoral studies at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, with a dissertation on energy balance in urban areas.
Dr. Ridwan’s current research focuses on buildings and urban energy, addressing sub-themes such as building physics issues, energy-efficient home and urban site design, and urban meteorology.
