Campus as an educational institution should develop the sustainability effort from academic insight. The indicator of Education in UI GreenMetric assesses campus efforts in conducting academic and student activities for sustainability efforts supports. This indicator assesses starting from the percentage of sustainability courses in the curriculum, the ratio of sustainability research funding towards total research funding and its publication, and student organizations and activities related to sustainability efforts.
Universitas Gadjah Mada received the highest score in Education indicator relative to other indicators. Universitas Gadjah Mada gains points of 1,525, or equivalent to 84.72%. This point makes UGM ranked 5th nationally. The results are supported by the consistency of UGM to produce so many publications and activities related to sustainability, supported by student organizations and courses that are related to sustainability.
