Eligibility

We have different requirements for different sub-topics. However, these basic conditions must be fulfilled by prospective students that you have to;

• have a good understanding in, depends on what topic you consider to apply, one or more these appropriate courses;  building physics, building optimization, energy efficiency and conservation, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, fluid mechanics and its computation, electronics, signal processing, data communication (proved by a mark B or higher)
• have a high curiosity to learn and explore with related topics mostly by yourself
• be able to join 2-weekly presentation of your progress together with another students in similar topics
• be able to finish your work in a proper time as firstly scheduled with your supervisor
• be able to write a min. 4-page summary of your work in English

We would be glad and more consider if you have experience with;

• field / in-situ measurement with any tools or instrument and method;
• modeling and simulation for; 1) energy (EnergyPlus / eQuest / Design Builder), OTTV Calculation or, 2) lighting (Daysim + Radiance / DIALux / Velux / Ecotect) or, 3) CFD (Ansys + Fluent) or, 4) PV Calculator;
• AutoCAD, SketchUp/3Ds Max/Maya;
• basic programming with MATLAB or Phyton;
• basic programming with C# or knowledge in Game Engine Softwares.
