Acoustic Test of BI Dome

In the Bank Indonesia Millennial Function Hall (MFH) project, Insgreeb played a key role in acoustic design and testing. The dome-shaped architectural design presented unique challenges. As a flexible space, the existing materials were not acoustically optimal, necessitating the installation of sound-absorbing panels to reduce reverberation while maintaining aesthetics, security, air comfort, lighting, HVAC, and structural integrity.

In this project, an alternative placement of 504 acoustic panels was proposed for the dome area. The panels ranged in size, with the largest being 3 meters in diameter and the smallest 0.5 meters.
