Acoustics of Kantor Presiden IKN

The Kanpres IKN, or Presidential Office, is one of the buildings constructed in IKN. Similar to the Istana building, the Kanpres building is also evaluated in terms of room acoustics. Insgreeb is responsible for analyzing the building’s acoustic performance.

The rooms within Kanpres IKN being evaluated for acoustics include:

• Press Conference Room
• Audience Room
• Cabinet Meeting Room
• Limited Session Room
• Teleconference Room

The acoustic design requirements for these rooms are as follows:

• Minimum speech clarity of 0dB in the audience area (C50)
• Minimum music clarity of 2dB in the audience area (C80)
• Speech intelligibility must meet at least the “GOOD” category (STI)
• Each room should provide a unique auditory experience (room response)
