Water usage on campus is a critical indicator in the GreenMetric UI. Effective water management entails reducing consumption, advancing conservation initiatives, and safeguarding communities. This indicator evaluates criteria such as the implementation of water conservation and recycling programs, the use of water-efficient appliances, and the amount of piped water consumed. Universitas Gadjah Mada scores notably in this area with 725 points, equivalent to 72.50%, ranking it fourth nationally for the Water indicator.
